Care of Soy Candles
Beanpod Soy Candles are made with Stabilized
Soy using Cleanburn Technology, so with a little care, these soy candles will
burn cleaner, longer and cooler than paraffin or soy blends.
The wax will burn cleanly usually leaving minimal residue on the container if you follow these easy guidelines:
* Let the candle liquefy across the entire top of the jar the first time you burn it. Candles have a burn memory, so if you do so, when you re-light it it will not burn in a tunnel, but will melt completely across the top and therefore clean all the way down the jar. * Trim the wick to ¼" before each time you light it and if you burn it for a long period of time, its a good idea to trim the wick after several hours.
* Blow these candles out, do not use a snuffer, you'll note there is minimal candle flame smoke when you do so, and no long lingering smelly after odor like with paraffin candles.
* Its important to let the candle burn long enough for the soy wax to melt all the way to the edges of the glass jar or container, which will leave the container clean.
* Since soy burns cooler, you won't have to wait long to put the lid on or move the jar.
* the fragrance "throw" is amazing with these beautiful fragrances gently moving through your home. You'll love the specialty fragrances such as Earthly Embrace that is heavenly and Sandalwood Amber and Grand Canyon, which are favorites with men.
* The soy beads for your melters are delightful and allow you can be very creative with your combinations or recipes.
